---------------------

Scientists estimated that the volume of plastic waste to 2050 will be heavier than the fish. And Vietnam is ranked 17th out of 109 countries which have the highest levels of plastic pollution in the world.

** According to statistics of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, only two big cities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, pollute average 80 tons of plastic and nylon bags each day. Everyday, Hanoi generates about 4,000 to 5,000 tons of garbage, of which nylon waste accounts for 7-8%.

** Notably, the amount of plastic bags increases each year. This is a "burden" for the environment which leads to a disaster that environmental experts call "white pollution".
